SchraubTec Landshut 2026: A Look Back at a Successful Trade Show Appearance

The SchraubTec in Landshut is behind us and we can look back on intensive, inspiring and extremely productive days at the trade fair. Our team was there to talk to trade visitors from the manufacturing industry about one of the most pressing issues in modern production: independence from proprietary data silos in screwdriving technology.

Great interest in manufacturer-independent quality assurance

On the very first day of the trade fair, it became clear that the topic of data sovereignty is hitting a nerve. At our stand, we held numerous technical discussions with quality managers, production managers and digitalization experts from a wide range of sectors - from the automotive supply industry to mechanical engineering and medical technology.

One question ran like a red thread through almost all the discussions: How can we manage to bundle our fastening data across manufacturers and make it usable for our own quality processes?

The response showed us that many companies are at precisely this point. They work with fastening tools from different manufacturers, struggle with different data formats and reach their limits when it comes to comprehensive evaluation. The willingness to change this situation was clearly noticeable in the discussions.

What particularly interested the visitors

Four topics were repeatedly the focus of discussions at our stand:

1. getting out of addiction

Many trade visitors reported situations in which they had come up against the limits of proprietary solutions in evaluations, reporting or system changes. The desire for independent data management that is not tied to a single tool manufacturer was one of the most frequently discussed topics.

2. transparency across all lines and plants

Companies with several production sites or different tool manufacturers in particular were looking for ways to create a uniform quality image. Not tool-related, but process-related - that was the clear requirement.

3. compliance without compromise

In many discussions, documentation requirements and audit preparation were described as time-consuming and error-prone - especially when data from different systems had to be merged manually. There was a great desire for an automated, centralized solution.

4 Not just storing data, but using it

More and more companies are realizing that their production data has enormous potential - for process optimization, predictive quality assurance and well-founded decisions. But as long as the data is stored in silos, this potential remains untapped.

Our conclusion: The industry is ready for change

What particularly impressed us at SchraubTec was the openness of the trade visitors. It was not about superficial interest, but about concrete challenges, specific projects and the genuine will to do things differently. We concluded many discussions with concrete follow-up appointments - a clear sign that the topic is not just being discussed, but actively addressed.

"SchraubTec has once again confirmed to us that we are on the right track with our approach," concludes our team. "Manufacturing companies want to regain control of their quality data - and they are looking for partners who can help them achieve this without creating new dependencies."

What happens next?

We will continue the discussions and contacts from Landshut in the coming weeks.
